Throughout the day, the volunteers assist the drivers, as they pick up surplus food from multiple food donors and deliver it to numerous charity sites. This volunteer opportunity is a fun, eye-opening and active day. You will experience the gratefulness of our food donors and recipients, and be amazed by how much incredible food would have gone to waste, if we weren’t there. Volunteers meet at our office at 8:50 a.m. and generally finish between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Some days are shorter, and others are longer, depending on calls we may receive during the day.
